Triggers: jobs the agent does by itself
Have the agent run a task on a schedule, every few minutes, or when another system calls its URL.
A trigger makes the agent do a job by itself, with its tools. Nobody is on the other end: it writes a short report of what it did.
- Every weekday at 9:00: send yesterday's new leads to the sales Slack channel.
- When a Shopify order arrives (webhook): thank the customer on WhatsApp and tell them the delivery date.
- Every hour: check the support inbox for tickets older than a day and post a reminder.
- Open the agent and go to Triggers. Click Add trigger.
- Choose when: at set times on chosen days, every few minutes, or when another system sends data (you get a URL to POST JSON to).
- Write what the agent should do, in plain words.
- Save. Use Run to try it now; the last run and its report show on the trigger.
Each run is charged like a conversation.
